I have had the pleasure of being a Richmond Hill chiropractor since 2003 serving not only the residents of Oak Ridges, but also nearby Aurora, King City, Newmarket and Markham.  I've even had a patient come as far away as St. Catherines, ON.

Most people think that they should only come to a chiropractic clinic for neck and back pain. While is is certainly true that chiropractors are spinal specialists, the fact is today's doctor of chiropractic is an expert in neuromusculoskeletal conditions. What does this mean? It means that within my own Richmond Hill practice, I see about 50% of spinal problems while the remaining 50% of my time is spent caring for patients with nerve, muscle or joint problems in other areas of the body. On a typical day, I will treat conditions ranging from migraine headaches to sprained ankles, torn rotator cuffs to osteoarthritic hips and carpal tunnel syndrome to plantar fasciitis...these in addition to your typical low back pain sufferer, sciatica patient and whiplash patient.

Why have I chosen to have such a diverse practice?

Quite frankly I find it more interesting that way. In addition, my own personal involvement in athletics naturally lends itself to a focus in sports-related injuries. And as I have aged through the years (and continue to do so), I understand the literal pain of getting older.

So chiropractic care with me at Meridian Spine + Sport can involve something as simple as a chiropractic adjustment where warranted. Or soft tissue therapy using myofascial release techniques or instrument-assisted Graston technique. Or maybe the use of state-of-the-art low level intensity laser therapy to reduce inflammation and help injured tissues heal quicker.

You are never too old, or young...to see me as a chiropractor. Remember the old adage, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Consider regular checkups like you would with your family physician, dentist or optometrist.

Whatever condition you are in, good or bad, these treatment and this process, is about you.

I look forward to meeting you and empowering you on your road to health.
