Marquise Swaby, PT, BScES, MScPT

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science, specializing in Exercise Science in 2018. I received my Master of Physical Therapy from Western University in 2020.

 

I provide treatment for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation, concussions, athletes, and more. Currently, I am Level 1 certified in manual therapy, through the Orthopaedic Division, and plan to progress through the CAMPT level system. Additionally, I provide taping & bracing, and acupuncture & dry needling to aid management.

 

I provide personalized treatment programs with an emphasis on therapeutic exercise, function, and gradual progression through physical and mental wellness. I find fulfillment in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, along with providing empowerment to individuals. Currently, I am also a part of various community and curricular initiatives that provide a voice for marginalized individuals.

 

During my spare time, I enjoy eating a variety of cuisines and staying active through running, weightlifting, basketball and more. While completing my Bachelor’s degree in Georgia, I was fortunate to be mentored by renowned clinicians and acquired invaluable skills. I have volunteered with Special Olympics London, Publix Atlanta Marathon, and many more organizations. I also had the pleasure of collaborating with prominent health professionals across Ontario regarding clinical and community growth.
