  • Naturopathic Medicine (60-75 min.)
    Intake Your main health concerns and goals are discussed in detail. Any lab work and/or supplements you bring are reviewed. Additional health history and lifestyle questions are covered in order for the Naturopath to understand how to effectively and realistically incorporate treatments into your daily schedule. Tests An InBody body composition scan and a urine stress test are performed (**in-office appointments with Dr. Misa only**). Diagnostic tests such as blood work through Lifelabs, saliva hormone testing and food sensitivity testing may be recommended if needed to assist in determining the best treatment for your symptoms. Treatment Dietary recommendations will be made if you have digestive issues, fertility concerns or want to improve your body composition. Nutritional and/or herbal supplements may be prescribed based on your health concerns. Lifestyle habits such as exercise, water intake, sleep quality and stress management will also be discussed.   • Chiropractic (45-60 min.)
    Intake & Assessment Your main health concerns are discussed in detail. Any tests results (e.g x-ray, ultrasound. MRI, etc.) that you bring are reviewed. Dr. Keith will perform a physical exam (e.g. range of motion, inspection of painful areas, etc.) as required to determine the course of treatment. Treatment Treatment will be performed on the initial visit and will vary based on Dr. Keith's asessment. Dr. Keith will explain the therapies with you (as well as how many visits you may require) and answer any questions you may have before proceeding with treatment.   • Physiotherapy (60 min.)
    Intake & Assessment Your main health concerns are discussed in detail. Any tests results (e.g. x-ray, ultrasound. MRI, etc.) that you bring are reviewed. The physiotherapist will perform a physical exam (e.g. range of motion, inspection of painful areas, etc.) as required to determine the course of treatment. Treatment Treatment will be performed on the initial visit and will vary based on the assessment. The physiotherapist will explain the therapies with you (as well as how many visits you may require) and answer any questions you may have before proceeding with treatment.   • Athletic Therapy (60 min.)
    Intake & Assessment Mike will discuss with you about how the injury occurred, your symptoms, perform specific physical, orthopedic or fitness testing, look at any predisposing factors you have for injury, and use this information to formulate an Athletic Therapy diagnosis. He will also assess the potential of a sport-related traumatic brain injury/concussion when appropriate. Treatment Advanced therapeutic techniques are used that support recovery, function and improve performance.​ Conditioning exercises are prescribed to facilitate healing between in-office appointments.   • Registered Massage Therapy (45 or 60 min.)
    Mike or Irene will have a brief discussion with you about the health concerns on your intake form and determine whether you would like a relaxation or therapeutic massage. They may need to assess any areas of muscle or joint pain/stiffness to provide the appropriate massage techniques. Patients having a pregnancy massage will have the option of lying face down (our treatment table can be adapted to make this possible) or lying on your side.   • Concussion Assessment (75 min.)
    Prior to the Visit, you will be asked to fill out a health history form that include: mechanism of injury (how it happened), current symptoms, and previous concussions (if any). Intake & Assessment Your healthy history and symptoms are discussed in detail. Mike will perform tests of the following areas: memory, full active/passive range of motion of the neck, eye (tracking), cranial nerves, specific orthopedic tests (if necessary), reflex, balance and coordination. Review of Findings The findings from the testing will be reviewed with you, as well as next steps of your treatment. The types of treatment available will also be discussed with you and if you are ready to start a home program. Treatment Mike will go over things you need to do to help you with your healing such as guidance on screen use – TV, computer, phone, and sleep routines. Ongoing monitoring and return to work, sport, daily activities advice is given in follow-up visits.
  • Compression Sock Consult (15 min.)
    We carry custom compression socks from Sigvaris and Lunatik Athletiks. Dr. Misa will discuss with you various style/fabric options based on your daily activities. Measurements are taken of the ankle, calf, leg length and foot size. Dr. Misa will show with you how to put on and remove the socks, as well as washing instructions. A 50% deposit is required before ordering custom compression socks. Socks range from $135-$165. Stockings start at $200. Most styles of socks arrive within a few days. Final payment is made upon pickup. Please note that direct billing is not available for compression socks, except with Green Shield.
