Physiotherapists are trained exercise specialists. We are highly educated in how the human

body functions and specifically know how to tailor exercise programs so that you don't get

injured, or worsen your current injury. We will assess your body, look for areas of muscle

imbalances (tight muscles vs. weak muscles) and teach you proper ergonomics of each exercise you perform. We do it with you, correcting your form, until you feel capable and ready to do them at home or at the gym. In the case of athletes, we dissect the skills that are needed to perform your sport, we look at the areas that can be improved/refined (strength, endurance, flexibility, power, speed, agility), and we coach you on how to improve those areas, in a more sport-specific way.


Physiotherapy is not only for those who are currently injured, but actually best utilized to

prevent injury! Just like a car needs quarterly maintenance to run smoothly, so does your body, so you should treat it accordingly!
